Emma's Story

Hey, you clicked through for the "long version" of the story, so here goes :)

I'm passionate about the goodness in people. Humans have an amazing capacity to care for each other, sometimes we just need to be reminded of that. I remind myself with simple doodles & inspiring notes. Apparently I need a lot of reminders (esp. as I get older!), because I have A LOT of doodles & notes. So many, in fact, that it's become what I do (who needs a degree in biology?).  I'm a Kindness Illustrator. 

I need to set up a picasa or flickr account to showcase my art for those who are interested, but I haven't done that yet.  (Too many kindness projects in the works, hee hee!!)

I need to work on this part of the website still....stay tuned...I'll be back!  Right now I have some deadline art to do so that I can get paid so that I can keep doing this :)

I have been licensing my art to gift and paper manufacturers for 4 years now.  I LOVE IT!  If you want to know more about the business part of it, I could totally talk your ear off.  I have learned so much & am happy to share that learning, but I won't do that here.

What I would want you to know is that a portion of the royalties through licensing "Acts of Kindness by Emma" go to National CASA, an organization that I've been a part of for many years and believe in whole-heartedly.

OK, as I said before.....I HAVE to go get this art project done....right now!!  I'm off!
